SOS sewing- Alterations masterclass
Learn to be your own Tailor
You must be able to already use a sewing machine before attending this class. If Not then book onto our "half day beginner class" here
- This 4 hour masterclass will teach you how to become your own tailor and save money by doing your own alterations.
- There will be some short demos on common alterations including shortening/lengthening : Taking in/Letting out : Adding darts/shaping
- Bring along a garment that you need altering, and there will be time to get started on altering it yourself with our stitching diva
- Got a great pair of jeans that need shortening? Learn our sneaky jean trick and retain the original look of the hem
- Need to let down sleeves on a jacket? Let us show you how easy it is to make your clothes really fit
- Got a vintage skirt that's a teeny bit short but there's not much hem? Let us show you a fake hem technique that's super useful
